Hello. I'm sure that you're...confused. Maybe you're even angry. Hell, I know that if I was in your shoes, I'd be. You've been roused from your sleep, roused from the dead, or pulled out of whatever epic world battle or adventure you were on. One man I talked to years back said that he'd been pulled in right in the middle of eating a bowl of cereal. Even now, Cheerios make him nervous.

Whatever you were doing was certainly more important to you than this. Understandably. I would be angry, and if you are? There are plenty of places to direct it. If you want to blame someone, blame the government and their puppets---but believe that there are people who care. My organization fights for the rights of all dimensional immigrants. We are on your side.

John's just a seedy English bloke trying to make his way in the world. Really.

He's not planning to declare his presence to all and sundry right away, but he'll be getting around a lot as he gets his bearings and chats people up. Especially if you hang out in bars or he can bum a cigarette off you.

*laugh* I meant to post about that shortly. He also leaves his dishes sitting in the sink and leaves his coat and jacket lying around as often as he hangs them up. Not to mention the remarkable smells and stains he sometimes brings home with him.

I'll make a point of noting what slobbish habits he's indulging in around the place when I post, so that they can go to war over it. Knowing Pepper, I'm betting she can break him of most everything but the smoking...and maybe even terrorize him out of lighting up when she's there (though sometimes the place may smell of smoke when she comes in; he'll swear up and down it's just got on his clothes ;) ).

Pepper can be the tiniest ginger terror when she puts her mind to it---she is used to bullying Tony Stark, so her nagging abilities are somewhat stellar. She's usually fairly mild, but stress makes her compulsive cleaning habits kick in like none other. This should be fun C8
